The ASEAN Acoustics Commission brings together national acoustical societies to advance regional cooperation in acoustics, noise, vibration, education, research and professional exchange.
AAC is a cooperation platform for recognised national acoustical societies in ASEAN. It supports activities that benefit from regional coordination while respecting the independence and responsibilities of each national society.
Each participating society remains fully independent. AAC coordinates only the work the societies agree to undertake together.
Regional conferences and technical workshops organised by a host society with support from the others.
Contact between researchers and practitioners working on acoustics, noise and vibration across the region.
Shared teaching material, student participation and professional development across member societies.
Discussion of measurement practice, national standards and noise policy between societies.
Introductions between national societies, universities, industry and international organisations.
Practical support for existing societies and for colleagues establishing a society where none exists.
Regional event information will be announced following confirmation by the participating societies.
